Activist Art

Since 2023, I have been drawn (pun intended) to practicing my drawing skills through creating activist art. This has also been helpful to channel the increasing anxiety and anger I’ve felt at the direction my country has taken, especially since 2001. These drawings have helped me to work through an art block and to connect with people, both online and in person (at protests!). This type of work has also challenged me to get out of my comfort zones in subject and theme, and also led to my ongoing Dumpster Fire Deplorables series. Drawn in Procreate, and some images are available on shirts and stickers and yard signs in my store.
